Inform 7 IDE for Linux

I’m switching to Linux and I installed the Inform 7 IDE for Linux. How/who would I contact for bugs/help with the IDE?

That’ll be Philip Chimento (@ptomato)! Oh, and big woo for switching to Linux!

Hardly by choice! Did you hear Microsoft’s big plans for Windows? The recall feature will take screen shots every three seconds! I can’t possibly see any flaws with that “feature”!

Wait what? Windows will automatically take screen shots every three seconds whether you like it or not? On one hand “you can’t be serious!”, on the other hand “sound about right”. I switched over from XP back in 2015 and haven’t looked back. I’ll never forget the face on my privacy focused friend when they asked me to dual boot windows and I went through all the non privacy settings that: 1. were all switched on by default, 2. technically do nothing privacy wise! Good times!

It’s an upcoming “AI” feature that’s part of their Copilot+ thing:

It’s also a litigation/discovery nightmare.

To be clear, it’s surely an option you can turn off. But how much you want to bet it defaults to on, and who knows if there will be an update that turns it back on. Or if someone releases a hack that somehow turns it on without people knowing. It’s a nightmare.

so, I expect much more conversion to the Light side of computing & coding, that is, Linux & free/libre software in general  :tada:

Best regards from Italy,
