As part of our previously-announced partnership with this year’s Game Developer’s Conference, we have a small number of conference passes to distribute to our community.

We will prioritize community members and those who have a relationship with IFTF, its programs, and interactive fiction/narrative more broadly than random applications from people who are trawling the internet and stumble on this opportunity.

Q: How many passes do you have to give out?
A: Not that many! I don’t have an exact count but “around three” is correct.
Q: GDC is soon, and travel is expensive! Why didn’t you announce this ages ago?
A: We didn’t know whether we would have spare passes.
Q: I’m an international visitor, can you help me enter the United States/get a visa?
A: No, we cannot help with that - GDC may be able to provide a letter though? Try reaching out to them directly.
Q: GDC is really expensive, can you help with travel or lodging?
A: GDC is in fact really expensive, but this program is for a conference pass only. Sorry

A: February 7
Q: When should I hear back?
A: Target to notify is on or before February 15.
