The Communications committee of the Interactive Fiction Technology Foundation is looking to add new members to help support and promote our programs like IFComp and NarraScope; to reach new IF audiences; and to provide useful and informative outreach to IFTF friends, donors, and advisors.
Projects we’re looking to undertake in the coming year include:
- Promoting IFTF events and contests through social media or games journalism.
- Supporting live (online) broadcasts or streaming events.
- Revamping the iftechfoundation.org website and those of our program committees to be more engaging and approachable.
- Building up a network of trusted experts and vendors to support IFTF program needs.
We don’t expect volunteers to be hands-on experts in all or even any of these disciplines—if you’re enthusiastic about running initiatives like these, we’d love to hear from you.
