I remember once searching for “The Zahir” by Borges, and the top result was some sort of story hosted on an MIT site that was titled “The Zahir,” credited to Borges, and mimicking his style, but it was clearly not actually the text of “The Zahir.” Instead, it was some sort of mash-up of “The Zahir” and “Funes the Memorious.” It was a very strange meta experience.
