Hey, guys! I am fighting for my life over here trying to figure out how to get that theme switcher Cloak of Darkness has to work! I’ve tried to use the code provided by the documentation, but for some reason I’ve not managed to get it to work… but my [if] statements were also not working for some reason…

Do you mean the “switch theme”? It’s a built-in Chapbook function, provided that you have a new enough version. Update Twine, make a new Chapbook game, then tell us if that made the “switch theme” appear. Struggled with the same issue before until someone told me that I just have outdated Chapbook version.
