How do you release a version 2?

Hi, I made my first ever IF in 2011. I’ve recently gone back in and tidied it up now that I know (slightly) more about it. How do I release the new version to replace the old one?

Just upload it to the IF archive and make it clear it’s an update.

And tell people! Such as in the #playing:project-announcements category here.

And update (or create) the entry at ifdb.tads.org.
