I’m playing Mermaid Adventure from the Text Adventure Literacy Jam 2022. I’m stuck on the following:

  1. I’ve opened the treasure chest, but does what it reveals serve any purpose?
  2. Do the hair bubbles serve any purpose?
  3. Does the whale serve any purpose?
  4. Do the metal scraps serve any purpose?
  5. How do you get past the shark?

Hi,

I was blocked at the same point too, but finally finished it.

Yes to both.

Does the whale serve any purpose?
Do the metal scraps serve any purpose?

As far as I can tell, no to both.

How do you get past the shark?

Once the treasure chest is open, there is two actions needed for the shark, my longest block was at the first one, you need to interact with the:

light

with the verb:

touch

Then the second action was a lot easier (there is also an hint when you are at the right location).
