I’ve managed to get past the initial part of the game but right now I’m stuck on how to get past the homuculus and tripli-kate (not at the same time obviously) and it’d be nice if I could get some hints.

Have you been examining people and things as you come across them?
Specifically, have you examined the frightened guests?

I somehow managed to get stuck again. This time, it’s at the Murder Kitchen with the skeleton.
The way you defeat the skeletons is always the same. You may need to explore a little, including places you’ve already been, to figure out how to get back the thing you need in order to defeat them.

I did that, but it disappears when you go back to the room?
It disappears when you pass through a room where Owl is, but there is a way to get him to move to certain specific locations so he’s not in your path.
