Hello! I’ve been playing this game but got stuck in the cave of blunders (I cheated my way into taking the ticket by using the UP arrow key but after I died it was impossible to UNDO.
So I reloaded and discovered the game is randomized.
After reloading, here’s what happened:
Summary
I can’t find the flashlight! The first time it was very easy to find. This time I’ve been all over the island outside of the dark hole. I went to the museum. I just can’t get past the coconuts or do anything with the bomb package.
Hmm, I won but not sure I have anything helpful to share given the randomization. If you’re having trouble with the coconuts,, you can get past those with the football helmet but not sure whether the way you get that is randomized too. I also don’t think you can do anything with the bomb. Are there any other unresolved puzzle-shaped barriers? One thing that might be relevant is in my game I got a hint saying I needed a flashlight to explore Atlantis, but actually it turned out I didn’t. So if you’re hanging back from any areas because you think you need the flashlight, might be worth going in and confirming.
Hmm, I’ve never found the football helmet. I do have an anchor I haven’t dealt with and a shark-filled lagoon I never did anything with besides walk past. In my last playthrough, the sub to atlantis was at the bottom of the hole, but the hole is deadly without the flashlight in both playthroughs. I think I’ll just start over after one quick look for the football helmet!
Edit: Found the flashlight! It was in the same room as the vending machine so I didn’t notice it.
