HAL Audio files not working on itch.io

Twine Version: 2.1
Harlowe 3.3.9

Hi, Not sure if this is quite the right spot so feel free to move.

I’m working on an audio guide and have gotten it working using Twine (as that’s what I’m familiar with) and the HAL audio library.

All of my audio files are relative files into a folder labelled audio which is within the folder holding my html file.
I renamed the main html file to index.html and uploaded it as a zip file to itch.
However I can’t get any of the audio to play - either in browser or on mobile.
The images load just fine so I know that the relative file paths there have worked.

Has anyone got any ideas of where to start to try and fix this?

Thanks.

UPDATE: Looking through the developer tools it’s throwing a 403 error against just my MP3 files. (not on the image files)

What is the folder structure of the files contained within your ZIP file?

What is the URL you are using (in your project) to reference an audio file that doesn’t play? (eg. the URL used in your hal.tracks special Passage).

Does the 403 error you’re receiving include information about actual URL that caused that error>

I forgot to update this thread this morning.

I managed to figure out the issue. The file type was capitalised (so MP3) and inside my hal.tracks passage it was all lowercase (so mp3).

Thank you for taking the time to respond to me though!
