EXILED: Fallen Vs Shader

We started 2025 with an ambitious Sherlock Holmes gamebook concept. Part way in, we realised there were issues with the scoring/combat system and that, combined with the sad death of a colleague, that project is currently on hiatus.

We are, however, hard at work on EXILED - Fallen vs Shader, a two-player, physical gamebook that utilises solo and collab sections as well as PvP aspects; all rounded off with a dice/’trading card’ combat system.

We are near to completion on the Fallen’s first chapter and, at around 550 rooms when complete, we’re estimating this gamebook to be in the mid-4,000 locations once complete.

What are your experiences/opinions about two player gamebooks? We’d love to hear them.
