Next term I’ll be running courses on writing visual novels for 9-18 year olds using Ink online via Thinkers Meetup (a well established home education/school enrichment provider). I’m also hoping to host a writing club for students who want to carry on from “how do I do this” to “I’m making my own thing”.
There’s two versions of the course, aimed at 9-14 year olds and 14+ respectively. Neither assume prior knowledge of Ink or coding, but it means that we can dive a bit deeper into the story side of things with the older group.
I’m going to shamelessy ping this thread with the excuse that we’re entering the last week to sign up for these courses. We need a few more sign ups for them to run, so if you’ve been considering suggesting them to somebody (or did but forgot completely about it in the Christmas rush) now is the time!
A new round of this course will be kicking off week starting the 23rd February; this will be the third time I’m running through the course so if you were worried about rough edges they’re mostly wearing off now .
This course is happening again, so if you know any middle/high/secondary schoolers interested in visual novels, there’s a new opportunity. I’m actually really pleased there’s been enough interest to keep this course running every high term since I started!
