That’s definitely the way once you get an edge. But I feel comfortable putting pressure on my opponents so they’re willing to trade and accept just one weakness, then another. Then – their position isn’t terrible, but they have no good moves, and they make a bad one. Aggression pays off!
BTW, on the subject of chess and text adventures, Nomad’s review on IFDB for Zugzwang today tipped me off to something neat and funny and short, and you don’t have to know a lot of chess to enjoy it. So I recommend it, though I can’t add to Nomad’s review!
