Hello! I’m using Twine 2.3.10 and am looking to change the folder to which it saves its files. I did some digging and found where someone had posted a workaround for this on Windows (Change default save location - Twine Forum), but I’m not sure how or if it is possible to recreate that on Linux (I’m using Ubuntu 20.04), or if there might be another option (e.g. directly modifying the code to access a different folder). Does anybody have any solutions?
If you read past the Windows related suggestion you will see there is a Mac OSX related one as well, and as Mac OSX and Ubuntu (Linux) are both based on UNIX you should be able to create a symbolic link as well.
note: Use the Twine > Show Library menu items of the Desktop based release of the Twine 2.x application to determine where the project folder is located for your Operating System.
I didn’t realize Mac and Linux were so similar, but that worked, thanks!
