Are the AGT Master's Editions newer than AGT 1.7?

I was interested in looking at the “best” version of AGT but I’ve had problems working out which version is considered the final release.

Going by the version number AGT 1.7 appears to be the newest release but the Master’s Edition version 1.56 (and I presume the upgrade to 1.6 too) seems to have significantly more features.

The documentation for the regular version suggests that it still supports PC, Mac, and Atari ST. The Master’s Edition is documented as being PC-only. Did AGT branch between the PC-only Master’s Edition and the regular version?

Yes, I think that’s right, 1.7 was released some time after the Master’s Edition came out.
