Any casino type games in Interactive Fiction?

Maybe just a good card game. A story need not be in it, but if it does, it wouldn’t hurt. Craps, poker, blackjack, one armed bandits, roulette, etc.

There was one Comp game a couple years back that had a collection of gaming games, though I don’t remember it being very interesting:

There are probably a fair number of games with like blackjack mini games, but not recalling any off the top of my head.

I don’t know about good card games, but you play blackjack in Ballyhoo, and there’s Double Fanucci in Zork Zero.

I’m not sure Double Fanucci can be considered a card game so much as a copy-protection mechanism.

My TADS3 WIP is a TADS3 WIP instead of an I7 WIP specifically because I could figure out how to do a draw poker AI in T3 and I couldn’t in I7.

a casino is an interesting setting. optimal for heist, espionage & detective genres, I daresay.

There’s a sample module on the inform 6 website that handles blackjack (although I think technically it’s pontoon). I’m planning to have a poker mini game in my current WIP, but I think I’ll probably end up simplifying it down to blackjack.

And now I can add Super Caesar’s Palace to the list of video games from my childhood/adolescence I’d love to have demade as a text adventure… Which reminds me I have old C++ and Java code I’ve written for cards, dice, and slots I’ve been meaning to combine into a rudimentary Casino sim.
