Hey buddy. I brought your game on Android.

I must say, it was a very pleasant surprise. I feel like I barelly scratched the surface of this amazing game. So much choices! So much to do!

My oh my. I love all the little easter eggs and references you hide in the game. And also, the fact of, of all the characters in universe, our fraking patron god got their very own character development arc!

Amazing story buddy! Thanks for write it!

Hi, mate!

Sorry, I responded so late. Thanks for the wonderful words! Yes, it is a game designed for exploration. I know many who play IF seldom return to the fray, but I think those who replay Green can find many interesting things – at least if you like orcs and the world of Krog Pile.

It was a bit of a risk, as there is, at first, no obvious wider narrative, being a quasi-sandbox, and no romance (because of the nature of orcs here). Of course, our orc hero can find a wider narrative, although he has to search for it. I think the risk paid off, as I have got very good feedback. Sure, some don’t like my flavour of grog, but knowing that many do really fills me with joy!

Thanks for taking the time to tell me this, mate. Appreciate this.

Also, I am working on a follow-up. Not a sequel, but set in the same world over 1,000 years later, during an age of industrial and political revolution. We don’t play an orc, however, and the game has more of a central narrative, though it is very choice-heavy. Already, the work-in-progress game is about 1.5 million words. It will be 2 books long, since otherwise I would go mad. I am approaching the final months of development.

The WIP demo is completely free to play right now. I encourage bug and typo reports. If you wanted to give it a go, A Shriek of Ash and Fire

No pressure! Just if you were interested. I might open a thread here at some point. Have been too wrapped up in things of late.
