I use Affinity’s graphics programs. I moved to them in 2019 when I ditched Photoshop Elements at the prospect of having to sign up to Adobe’s eye-watering monthly charges to continue with it in any form.

I think Affinity’s programs are excellent, and they are certainly not exactly the same as Photoshop etc.

Affinity have just changed all their software to offer six-month trial periods, in order to give people time to learn how to use it. So if you’ve ever been interested in Affinity, this is a good opportunity to give it all a legitimate spin.

I second this.

I’ve been using them for some time. I even paid to upgrade to version #2. I use Affinity Photo a lot. Like Wade, I ditched PS when it went subscription.

Thirding! I’ve used Affinity Publisher a fair bit since I lost my student Adobe subscription, it’s on par with InDesign and in some ways I like it better.
