Adventure Family Tree -- using IFWiki to record and display information

Continuing the discussion from Updated Adventure Family Tree - any interest?:

Nathanael Culver’s version became the biggest version of the Adventure Family Tree. We now have a wiki page about this at Adventure Family Tree - IFWiki, which includes a link to its current location on Mike Arnautov’s website (The Adventure Family Tree) @mla @NathanaelCulver

I’d like to use IFWiki as a means to record more information about the history of this game, and present it in a more easily accessible way. The main benefits we have is that we can have a new page for each game, and have automatic reciprocal cross-references between them. Each version’s page can have its own “play online”, download and other links, screenshots, historical information etc.

I think the main ongoing benefit of Nathanael’s family tree will be the diagram itself. He keeps it up to date, so that won’t be lost. The wiki creates a family tree automatically based on the pages, but currently the hierarchy is just represented in nested bullet lists.

Anyway, the main page is Adventure - IFWiki, and the child pages use the well-established abbreviations as part of their names, e.g. Adventure: The Interactive Original (NELS0350) - IFWiki. It would be great if people who know about the game and its various versions, or just people like me that are interested in learning, could add some pages to the wiki or add information to existing pages. There’s a data entry form at Form:Game - IFWiki that should be self-explanatory and make things relatively easy.
