2025 - A new year! But with a new year comes a new start. And a new start means means new projects.
What are your resolutions for this year? Mine is to get my WIP into a shapeable place by the end of this year. I also have some other ones, but that’s the main one here!
I have three Inform works-in-progress, and I would like to finish them all. Two are “small” and will probably wind up being 30k words apiece. The other, larger one will be over 100k words. A lot to get through!
I want to write about four Infocom games for Gold Machine. The next in the sequence are Leather Goddesses of Phobos, Moonmist, Hollywood Hijinx, and Bureaucracy. Unfortunately, I’m only interested in LGOP, so that will likely feel like work most of the time.
I’d also like to write a good first parser game, with a decent tutorial and whatnot. Busy busy!
I’d like to finally finish my Rosebush article on the parser-IF roots of visual novels… it’s been 2/3 done for like a year, but stuff just keeps coming up.

Work on a episodic project, could be a moddable game, or just serialised if. I want to keep working on a project making it big rather than jumping around trying new frameworks or whatever.
