>i Item time! You are carrying: some shoes a prep paper a PHAIL phial a salient saltine a tagged gadget a tinfoil info-lit a dope tan notepad >x some shoes BUG >x cask It's plain and cedar, with a small hole on top. It's engraved WERE-EWER. It's empty. >get it Taken. >angle You stare into the blue lube for a bit, then look around. You notice weird hazes around the cask when you do. [You decide to keep a to-do entry in your notebook of stuff you haven't tackled, yet.] >cr cask You get to scanning, twiddling from certify to rectify and back. The gadget beeps once. A series of lights comes across: R G R G. Most of the screen goes blue. Then a green dot and red dot bounce left and right across the gadget screen until they stabilize: B B G R. >sack The cask retains its color but looks visibly frayed as its wood turns to burlap. The sack it has become collapses in a heap on the floor. You pick it up. [Your score has just gone up by one point.] >x sack Sturdy burlap, reading "a stick it sack". It's empty. >l Room This room is a little too undescribed. It's nice to have a break from all this puzzling, but it's almost too easy a break. It feels like the Nick, but you can't explain why. Your gadget seems to vibrate a bit. A passage leads west back to the centrifuge, and another leads north. >x gadget Your gadget's not near anything, but it's registering R G G R. >moor You see a flash and get a glimpse of the moor, but your movement's gummed up quickly by the ooze below. Best to find something better to put on your feet. [That's worth noting in your notepad for later, so you do, once again, under FLIPS.] >wear shoes You can't wear those! >moor You see a flash and get a glimpse of the moor, but your movement's gummed up quickly by the ooze below. Best to find something better to put on your feet. >pf Stuff you close-to-figured: Deal with store R: resort Deal with acne-bit cabinet: nice bat room -> moor >n Stiller Trellis This room feels close to something important. The trellis to the east is the only decoration you've seen in this area, and the wall below it seems scraped and beaten up a bit. You can also go west or south. >w Kitchen This is a kitchen, though it's a bit bare, except for the obligatory fridge. South is the centrifuge room and east is the room with the trellis. You've gotten rid of the kitschy stuff, and there's some food left: a tortilla (nothing on it), a large packet of HOTSAUCE, a pile of grated Parmesan cheese, some cut-up steak and a head of lettuce. Some straw, too much to lug around in your hands, lies here. >get straw You lump the straw in the sack. >x sack Sturdy burlap, reading "a stick it sack". In it you see straw. >version Shuffling Around Putzing around is unmagical.
