"Get ready!" he says. The zarblot raises its arms and begins to cast the BLIZMACK spell. "You don't have anything that will counter that spell!" cries Quorbus. Guesses can be single words of any length. Anything counts as a word, even BLZRTQ. A little scratch paper may come in handy. You're trying to collect keywords. All keywords are uncapitalized, reasonably common English words, from four to nine letters long. There are also several commands: You can always SAVE, RESTORE, RESTART, or QUIT.
