Would you like to give an online talk about IF?

Dear all,

If anyone is willing to give a talk about their experience in creating or playing IF games for about 50 minutes, please give me a nudge. I am trying to get my students motivated to create short IF games as school projects. It would be great if an experienced player or creator would be willing to give a short talk.

Please contact me at cehan.nadina@gmail.com

Best wishes,

I would also like to add that the talk can be arranged anytime in November or at a later date. Thank you!

@Turandot,

I took the liberty of changing the title of this post, because you’re inviting people to be speakers (as opposed to giving a talk yourself).

I’m not an author, but I support your project. It might help if you provided a little more detail about the context, such as what kind of students (grade school, middle school, high school?), whether this will be during a regular class session (writing class? foreign language class?) or extracurricular, and any particular topics that you would like to be covered in the talk (discussion of tools? demonstration of coding? project management? what makes IF different from other fiction and/or games? analysis of a specific work of IF?).

Thsnk you very much. There were a lot of things I did not anticipate. Take care

Dear all,

I apoligise for not having made myself clearer in the first post. I would like to inform you that I have already found two willing speakers, meaning that I declare this thread closed.

Thank you to everyone who showed an interest. I promise there will be another chance next year.

Best of luck to everyone!
