Where/how to upload/document unearthed games

Hi, I found two slightly less commonly mentioned Scott Adams engine games recently: “Unicorn Hunt” and “Lazy Daze” when going through some TRS-80 software archives online. The game Unicorn Hunt is ready to play, whereas Lazy Daze is almost done being converted from the binary format used by Bruce Hansen’s “Adventure Editor” program for the TRS-80, into the more common text-based “.dat” file format.

These are my questions:

  1. Where should I document the games, so that they won’t be forgotten again?
  2. What is a good place to upload the data files, to reach a suitable audience?

Thanks.

The IF Archive has plenty of historical games with no clear copyright status. It would be silly to pretend we’ve been strict about it. So upload away. Just be sure to include as much bibliographic information as you have – author, date written, etc.
