What's one positive/neutral thing that's happened today?

Absolutely beautiful spring day here today  Went for a lovely walk in the sunshine.

Pleased to be feeling that old beginning-of-project excitement. Not felt like that in a while.

Just had my first cyclone last night. Feel lucky that we were basically unaffected, didn’t even lose power.

It’s nice to be getting more daylight this time of year. It makes things feel more cheerful.

Catching up with some podcasts I’d forgotten about.

Personally, I could do without the increase in daylight hours.

And speaking of podcasts, one of the few I’ve ever been hooked on, the Episodic Table of Elements recently released the episode for Plutonium.

It’s elemental.

Thank you for the tip. I am going to add the podcast to my favorites.

Atmospheric fog first thing this morning. A bit eerie but very pretty!

Finished making a website for my running club. Might be even more nervous having them test it than I am when having people on here test a game (I always think people are going to hate my projects haha) but I’m really glad to have got it finished, it’s been a bit more work than I expected!

Been getting to work on creative projects more recently – still incredibly unemployed but I’m working on that too. In the meantime, I’m very nearly done with my space opera IF demo and made some UI for what will (hopefully) be an Ectocomp entry. I’ve been learning more JavaScript and CSS for best practices and hopefully making my games more mobile-friendly in the future. Also took a few commissions and I’ve been enjoying then as a break from making vector art for the aforementioned Ectocomp project.

Your space opera might be good option for the Text Adventure Literacy Jam. ? Then again, Ectocomp is favorite.

Testers gave some good feedback for the website. Looking forward to getting it finalised.

I manage several websites. They are never final…

Yes, perhaps I should say finalised for now

Today’s positive: the blossom is coming out on the trees :cherry_blossom:

I read all of Kurt Vonnegut’s books back in the late 90s. I hadn’t heard about this letter from him to a group of students until today. It’s very positive and inspiring.

Practice any art, music, singing, dancing, acting, drawing, painting, sculpting, poetry, fiction, essays, reportage, no matter how well or badly, not to get money and fame, but to experience becoming, to find out what’s inside you, to make your soul grow.

Ran an ultramarathon today. I’m not at all fast when it comes to ultras, but the back end of the pack is the best place to be because the camaraderie is fantastic!

Very tired and achy now, very much looking forward to a recovery week or two.

Just received the galley proofs for one of my articles. As soon as they’re approved, it goes to press!

Also, it’s now spring break. I certainly need that!
