429 is the HTTP server error for “too many requests”. It generally shows up if a server is set up with a rate limit on requests, and it’s currently being hammered hard enough to hit the limit.
You can generally wait a few seconds and try again. (But gently! Don’t hammer the refresh button.)

I was clicking through the calendar to see events. I guess I clicked too much and too fast.
