Worst thing that could happen is that it’s rejected (but that won’t happen).
Admittedly, there’s a passage on the upload form which says:
Please include as much information as possible: title, author, version number, copyright license, what platform it runs on.
So, the “platform” thing could give one the impression that this is for executables/games only.
But on the same upload form, right at the top, it explicitly says:
“Use this form to donate IF-related files. Games, development tools, solutions, articles, and documentation are all gratefully accepted.”
(my emphasis)
And on the archive’s homepage:
Since 1992, the Archive has collected thousands of text adventures, text adventure development tools, articles, essays, hint files, walkthroughs […].
So, no worries, be bold and go ahead!
