SugarCube has a new version
Updated:
- Twine + SugarCube version (minor updates)
- Hal’s Thinking Outside the Box by @HAL9000
- Kajot-dev’s Harlowe Save-to-File
Update:
- Harlowe version to 3.3.9
- Harlowe Template/Guide on Saves and Settings: 100% Good Twine Harlowe Templates by manonamora
Update:
- Chapbook version to 2.2.0 (it’s been a while, I just missed it)
- Added repo of 100% Guide for the old version (since it’s now up-to-date with SugarCube
Only one tiny edit because I finished this template today.
I’m so happy your Harlowe templates exist, looking forward to taking a closer look!!
Some quick edits for formatting, also started to separate templates for SugarCube because 2.36 and 2.37 have some pretty important incompatibilities in code (Settings/Saves API + macro). Mainly because Jinx’s Pellicule and my templates were updated recently.
Found a bunch of stuff recently, mainly older tutorials (and in non-English languages!) and assets:
- Introducción a Twine by David T. Marchand
- Introducción a Twine para principiantes by Clara Fernández-Vara
- Let’s Learn Twine by Rose J
- Twine101 by Lynda Clark (Sugarcube 1)
- Twine Macros: Click 'n Replace by RodFireProdictions (SugarCube 1)
- SugarPhone, a SugarCube 2 Phone Engine by LC3 (Visual + Code)
- Another RPG Engine by Another RPG Enthusiast (Code)
- Twine FMV Dialogue System Demo by 13 Owls (Visual/Demo)
- Gender Inclusive Twine 2 Harlowe Code Tutorial by autistmouse (Code)
- Twine to Ren’Py Tool by ludowoods
- Twine and Decker Tool by Beyond Loom
I know where are plenty more resources out there.
So please, if you find something, feel free to edit the OG post (it’s a wiki) or post a reply here and one of us will add it!
Some tools shared in the Twine Discord server:
The “Mini-Twine” prototype for Decker has been superseded by the Twee library, which offers more general and robust Decker/Twine integration.
Some more Chapbook contents this time:
Is this Twine Resource list on IFWiki?
Look at the first post.
The list is now listed on the IFWiki (I thought I had done that, but I must have forgot to save).
Edits:
- Twine’s version, already up to date on IFWiki
- Chapbook version (last update in November, same with Twine)
- Some typo/formatting
Addition:
- Print version of the Twine book is now listed
- Maliface’s Scripts for Chapbook, Harlowe and Sugarcube
- Chabpook Reference page by manonamora (I really got into a Chapbook well lol)
As a fan of Chapbook, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed reading through your reference page. It’s so well done and very convenient! Thank you!
I wish it had existed when I first started with Chapbook.
I also like Adventuron so let us know when you switch to the dark side and make a reference page for that.
