Trying to remember an old game with unconventional prose and language

I’m trying to remember the name of an old text parser game (likely at least a decade old), and would really appreciate any help.

The distinct thing about it was that it used language unconventionally - like instead of just saying there was a door, it spoke in this alienlike and convoluted way that implied the presence of a door, or you had to really think about the words to extract the understanding of a door. I think it also relied on words having different/obscure meanings. The challenge of the game was kind of figuring out what simple thing was being communicated. It was super cool/interesting.

The only other thing I remember is that the player is wandering around on some sort of planet (I think) and the area seemed pretty isolated.

It’s not the Gostak - all the words were real English words, just used in weird and unconventional ways.
