The USB Stick Found in the Grass

Several months ago I asked for some help with marketing and got sme interesting leads from you, now that the game was launched I will post more detailed info.

It is not a classical interactive fiction (actually this is not something easy to classify at all): while there is a strong “fiction” part, there is no “interactive”. You are given a (virtual) copy of a USB stick that was found in a place of a possible crime and your job is to find out who the owner was, whether it is related, whether something happened at all and so on. You are not given any tools, but you are armed with Windows and any software you decide to install and use. So how do you investigate? Browse, examine, check, cross-check, deduce… Anything goes!

And many thanks for the help given in my previous thread, it was really helpful.

I’d still consider that to be “interactive”. :+1:

Does that include installing Linux over top of Windows?

Sure, but if you want to use Linux you can directly mount the disk there, no need for Windows for that.
