"The Spirit in the Door": Looking for playtesters for high-fantasy textadventure, 33K words + questionaire. Playtest runs until Dec 5th. Unpaid.

Make it a Triple studio is looking for playtesters for the English-language textadventure The Spirit in the Door. Testers fill a questionnaire on Cryptpad. The playtest will run until Dec 5th, '25.

The game has light RPG elements, set in the new, mystical high fantasy world Genius Loci. Several characters can be chosen from. The entire adventure is 33K words, making one playthrough roughly between one and two hours long. The game runs in browser, so there’s no installing needed.

Please reply here or mail to hallo@triple-games.com to participate! Any help is welcome!

EDIT: It has been suggested to add more detail. So what I need from testers is a) a tech test to see if I wrangled the code corretcly; b) is it’s any fun at all.I added that it is unpaid for clarification - the help I require is not that of a pro QA team, just another pair of eyes or two. The game will be paid when released, the test does not require a purchase opbviously I am a newly founded solo studio, this is my second attempt at IF and my fist game in my long-time passion project Genius Loci.I understand the deadline is short. There is a questionanire for testers to fill out to help speed things up. The game itself is mostly reading without too much gaming involved: players make a few decision and solve a puzzle or two.

To see my other games you can check out (I am not allowed o share links but cannot write a link so it isn’t a link…) ranarh.itchio - please add the fullstop before “io”.

Okay, I’ll try to rephrase more politely. Can you provide more information about your game? Is it free or not free? What other games have you made, or which this game is similar to? Is this a game studio or a solo project? Why are you emphasizing that this in unpaid? It sounds like you’re looking for people to do testing work for you just for fun which is fine, but please provide more info so people know what they’re agreeing to.

Hello and welcome! This isn’t a lot of notice to get playtesters, and even fewer are going to be able to playtest a 1-2 hour game (since a good playtest will take much longer than that), so please don’t be surprised if you don’t see many takers. It’s also a busy time for many people in real life with the holidays coming up! If you’re able to ask for feedback with a later deadline, perhaps you’ll get more testers.
