Have just finished a playthrough and read all the reviews! I started playing in the Opera browser, but immediately found that the “self”, “goals”, and “map” buttons didn’t work at all, so I switched to Firefox and had no issues there.
Like some reviewers mentioned, I got a bit exhausted toward the end of my playthrough and started skimming a lot more and just aiming for the exit rather than doing the leisurely exploring I had been. I do plan to return to see the rooms I missed, but trying to see it all on a single playthrough just got too overwhelming.
That said, I definitely had fun with it—I loved the setup of wandering through a surreal art gallery, encountering quirky patrons and mysterious diary pages in between the strange, compelling, shifting exhibits. I feel like there’s a climax to Emma’s story waiting for me, if only I can find it… My favorite moment of what I saw was the PC looking over their shoulder after winding the crank—delightfully eerie!
Edit: I just went to download my transcript, but sadly the recording function doesn’t seem to have worked—I have the opening credits, but that’s it.
