Story Format: Sugarcube 2.34.1
So I’m very much a newbie and I wanted to know if there was an easy way to set up a read more/read less button? The closest I think I’ve gotten is messing with linkreplace but there’s no read less with that. I will be grateful for any help.

It’s not quite the same thing as you describe, but perhaps my “<<hovertip>> Macro” might help (you can find it in my Twine/SugarCube sample code collection).
That macro will allow you to make words, images, etc. which can be clicked on or you can hover your mouse over to see additional text, images, etc. . That way they can just hover over some text (or click on it if they’re on a mobile device) to see more information.
If you need something else, describe exactly what you want and I might be able to come up with a simple solution.
