Thank you both! Not sure how I missed Sapphire’s set tbh
I’m stuck near the end of Retool Looter
Meg is the only agent left to rescue. I have a hammer head, but don’t known how to repair it or what to do with it. I have a meter, but don’t know what to do with it. I feel like I’ve searched every location (but never found a loo, which is hinted by one location) and attempted to reverse every object.
overall I’m impressed that there appear to be multiple solutions to some of the problems, although I’m sure I’ve not discovered all of them.
A series of hints for rescuing Meg:
You need to use the hammer head to build a tool. Not just a hammer, but a less well-defined tool.
Combine the hammer head with the spacer to make a sledgehammer, but also add something else to make it a less well-defined tool.
The something else is the tip.
If you can’t find the tip, try eating the peach.
Ooh I forgot about the spacer, though from your hints I wandered from room to room typing “examine spacer” and “examine recaps” until I found it. (I had already recently discovered the “tip”, but doubt I would have known what to do with it without your hint.
After getting past that, the end game puzzle turned out to be quite satisfying.
OK, I’m back again. Still playing Chronicles of the Moorwakker–now I can’t figure out how to get inside Oythe.
In the village, you can hear the name Tenekeburg mentioned, which the guard at the south gate will accept as a group for the jousting tournament, but he also wants to know the name of a specific person . . . None of the other available paths seem to lead to getting in either. If anyone has done this I’d appreciate hearing how!
Hi @wolfbiter,
gaining access to Oythe Castle in the final chapter involves a multi-layered, multi-step puzzle/maze, making the specific path dependent on your experiences in the preceding chapters. There are at least three different possible ways to proceed to the next layer at each stage. At your current point, there are four different ways to enter the outer bailey of the castle. This [Spoiler!] table shows all possible routes:
Thanks!
Hmm, I’m at the very, very very end of Retool Looter. I’m unsure what to do with the container of oats. I was thinking of making oatmeal, but other than that, I’ve got no idea.
EDIT: Oh wait, never mind. I figured it out. Inform keeps misreading ragus and jars.
