When I follow the invite, I land in Discord but I am not allowed to post any messages. I’ve joined quite a few Discord servers before but never had that problem. Has that to do with how the server had been set up?
The first thing displayed when I joined was a long list of rules. There was a check box at the very end. Even though it was already “shadow checked” I had to add a check mark. Did you experience that behavior?

Ah no, Discord took me straight to “General” but I clicked on “Rules” and now it did show me the check mark, so I am in, thank you very much!
