Does this affect the version of Parchment hosted on iplayif.com at all? It’s always worked fine for me in the past but now when I try to save/restore anything I get an error saying that my browser doesn’t support LocalStorage.
Iplayif.com is using the latest Parchment code, but the localStorage isolation is not active there.
Which OS and browser is it saying you don’t have localStorage?
Chrome 150.0.7871.186 on Android 16. It says cookies are enabled for iplayif.com (and everywhere else).
I’m almost certain I didn’t update anything on my phone/browser since the last time it was working properly, but it looks like the only thing that’s changed recently is the sitegen page. Is there any other reason it would suddenly have stopped working?
Something must be going wrong when it migrates the storage to encrypt the files. I’ll update Parchment to show the error in a popup.
I’ve now added an error dialog for when it starts up. Please let me know what it says for you.

The surface level bug was that I wasn’t accounting for files that were in the metadata but didn’t actually exist. How the metadata got desynced I’m not sure, but that was a sloppy assumption on my part. Any missing files will now be removed from the metadata.
It’s likely that running the localStorage migration script several times (every time you tried to open iplayif.com) means that some files have now been compressed multiple times. I’ll help fix that for you, if you send me the export from Parchment file exporter
