Certain legacy off-site links not working

It seems to me that not every link to the phpbb forum is correctly handled/redirected yet.

For example:

• https://www.intfiction.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=20604 (ECTOCOMP 2016, see archive.org)

• https://www.intfiction.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2323 (from ifwiki)

• https://www.intfiction.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=116768 (I think every link to a given post)

Also links to user profiles, like https://www.intfiction.org/forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=168

Not sure what the issue is, but it’s intermittent since many links do work.

This is excellent feedback, thank you! I personally am not skilled enough to fix this, but I’m going to gather up more test cases and see if there are any individual post links that do work.

The import script should have brought across most of the topic links. I’m not sure why, but there were a small number that weren’t. It’s not possible to identify or fix the ones that weren’t ported unfortunately.

…unless it’s done manually. I went to the archive.org listing for the first one in the list, saw the post, searched for the subject and author on here, and got the new URL.

It will probably be a matter of people fixing these individually in similar manner when they are discovered, and getting the original referring link updated.
