I have a strong preference for the old heart “like” icon over the thumbs up, if opinions are wanted on that! For me the heart/like button was an “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” situation.

I had the old hearts and was going to say “must be a theme thing” but then it wouldn’t let me heart anything. So I reloaded and lo and behold…thumbs up! I suspect the mods can set the default icon, if they don’t want to have the multi-select emoji thing.
In any case, I agree with Tabitha that the heart is better. I don’t think anyone took it romantically, since it’s the only option, and the thumbs up icon is too small/out of place.
