That piece of cardboard with “Our children will never know refreshment” is absolutely hilarious. Good find! =) As we all know, refreshment began in 1886, and the poor lady’s great-grandparents never knew it either. But in their ignorance, they’d probably have lamented the fact that she would never taste homemade lemonade, switchel, ginger beer, or a long glass of sherbet.
So this is a passive-aggressive plaint again the new forum software.
