Thanks for the great review! I’m really pleased you managed to find time to play it. I think reviewers struggled a little this year with the sheer amount of games to get through in the review period, so perhaps ‘post-comp’ is sometimes the best way to appreciate games that sail close to the 2hr limit. Really glad to hear you enjoyed the game, sorry about that last puzzle though!
Re. whitewashing GAIL, hmmm. Is that the authors fault, or the players fault for choosing that particular ending? 
– (and should we be blaming the ‘monster’, or its creators?).
