I also did a quick search for IF feeds and got a few relevant-looking results. I don’t run any of these, so I’m not certain how all of them work, but I figured they might be of interest:

  • Interactive Fiction (run by @dominia.bsky.social) – collects all posts that mention IF terms/creation tools/events/etc.
  • elit & intfic (run by @samplereality) – “A feed of electronic literature, digital narrative, and interactive fiction scholars, practitioners, and enthusiasts.”
  • Interactive Fiction (run by @andythayer.bsky.social) – seems to search for keywords like “choose your own adventure”
  • Game Narrative & Writing (run by @gregbuchananwriter.com‬) – description says “#narrativedesign, #gamewriting, other key terms from a list of industry pros are auto-included in the feed - @gregbuchanan to propose new people”

Personally, I’m loving Bluesky so I hope that the community over there will grow. It’s so refreshing to have a feed of things I want. Starter Packs have been amazing for finding communities on Bsky, too.

Haven’t shared anything yet myself, but I’m @studioephua.bsky.social on Bluesky on bluesky. Hopefully will be sharing my non-linear narrative projects in 2025. :slight_smile:

Two Bluesky/IF updates:

  • The Interactive Fiction Technology Foundation is officially on Bluesky now at @iftechfoundation.org.
  • And the classic @YouAreCarrying bot has been reimagined on Bluesky. It posts random room descriptions from every Infocom game, and you can reply “i” or “inventory” to receive your own inventory made up of objects from Infocom games.
