I’ve been working on two projects that are at least ready for some bit of primetime, although I suspect they may only be of use to me.
One of these is Inform Builder. The idea here is to support building the latest Inform ecosystem and getting the IDEs built to use that. (This is how I’ve been exploring 10.2, for example.) This gets a little tricky because I had to keep working around various issues, including an inweb/inform mismatch (for any OS) and handling cases where you don’t have the latest Microsoft Build Tools (for Windows).
The other is a Visual Studio Code extension (published) that I’m calling Inform Ecosystem VSCode, proving that my naming chops leave something to be desired. This project builds on a few existing extensions for both Inform 6 and 7 and combines them with an IF Player update. I also support Inweb and Intest.
Both projects are still works in progress but may be of interest, even if only pedagogical interest, to others.
