The forum is (mostly) here to help answer questions about authoring or playing IF games! "Let’s Play"s are basically just a commentated playing of a specific IF game, so like the text adventure version of a twitch stream of someone playing, say, Resident Evil. (I use that example because I don’t tend to watch those, lol, but have watched the smosh RE8 playthroughs.)
I’m not sure if that helped, but hopefully it gives a little bit more guidance as to what this forum is for.

A “let’s play” usually refers to a video where you watch someone play a game with commentary.
IF let’s play videos are rare, so our Let’s Plays tend to be text transcripts annotated with commentary.
If you look at a few of them you can get an idea.
This one does link to a video let’s play:
This will be a video let’s play with two players. One of us has played Zork but not Colossal Cave; the other has played Colossal Cave but not Zork. We’re going to take turns (alternating between “Z” episodes and “A” episodes) and guide each other through our respective games. After finishing both games, we’ll take a tour through their source code.
The versions we’ll be playing are revision 119 of Zork I and Donald Knuth’s literate programming port of 350-point Adventure (a.k.a. KNUT0350 ). If we…
But they tend to be more like this:
Following up from Let’s Play: Jigsaw , it’s time to look at one of the major inspirations for that game: Trinity, by Brian Moriarty. Many consider it Infocom’s greatest work, and one of the first truly “literary” works of IF. Does it really deserve that title? Let’s find out!
For this LP, I’m (somewhat arbitrarily) going to be using version 12/860926, the “Masterpiece” version. If you want to follow along, you can get it here ; that’s the version all my save files will work with.
Finally, a word…
