Just for the record, we’ve had intermittent slowdowns and server error messages on the Archive since December. My server plugin that handled the tagging and redirects was causing a lot of problems behind the scenes.
It took a lot of rewriting and server configuration experiments, but I think the problem is finally resolved.
…This is not related to the current backlog in /unprocessed, which has gotten really bad. I apologize for that. David Kinder has been tackling a few of them. I need to ping the rest of the volunteers and see who has time to get back into it.
