I’d just like to point out that you’re unlikely to find platforms with better royalties and similar benefits. Choice of Games is more generous than most book publishers, does the actual work of publishing and pushing updates for your game and brings a wide audience to your game and that’s hard to ignore.
I had a large game I published recently I thought of putting on Steam, but I’d need some art assets for it and marketing. I actually thought of approaching some people with pre existing storefronts (like Simon Christiansen) and offering a 90/10 revenue split (with me getting the 10%) just so they’d do all the work for me, and that would be worth it for me. The 25% from Choice of Games is really nice.
