I figured I’d start one, for myself and anyone else who might still need it! I know there’s an item that can skip puzzles (and a walkthrough that gives the solutions), but I’d prefer to do things myself if possible.

I’m at the point where I only have 3 non-mine locations I’m allowed to go to: the place with the maul tower, the place with the speedy beak, and the pink dam. But I’m stuck, and I’ve tried using EYE everywhere but it seems to be telling me there’s nothing else to solve!

I can’t MALT HOUR the maul tower because I don’t have the right stuff yet.

So I’m trying to DOPE ALE one of my inventory items, as I figure that’s the prerequisite step, but I can’t figure out where to successfully use it as there’s never any merchants in the locations available to me.

I also can’t DAMP INK the dam because I’m missing an item.

I’ve been trying to figure out if there’s anything else to do in the cell as I figured maybe that’s where I could get a seller to appear and solve my problem, but no luck so far.

Did anyone else get stuck there? I’d really appreciate any nudges in the right direction! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Have you been to all three of the different “souths” that you can get to with the beak?

Aah, I had indeed missed something with the beak!

I didn’t realize I could use it to go west since I’d already used it to go south. Mostly I think it’s the error message for the former that confused me, since I thought it was hinting at a very different solution! (Your pro ball pulses bright red. You remember, from your trip to see the high cup, there was something beyond there. But it looks awfully dense and spooky ahead. You trust the pro ball when it indicates you shouldn't trust yourself. Well, without proper preparation.)
