Hey there!
I’m Testy, the creator of The Edge of the Map, a free Twine/Sugarcube adult game, focusing on interactivity and sandbox elements intertwined with multiple characters, each one with a distinct, multi-choice story.
I’m also creating a comprehensive game wiki, hosted on Miraheze (because Fandom.com can *beep* itself).
Last but not least, I’m publishing a series of monthly posts, focusing on an in-depth look into the game development as a whole - from my perspective as a sole developer of TEotM.
All available for the project supporters - the first one is already available!
The game is playable, but very early in development - the public release of v0.03 will be available next week (March 21 2026).

The newest update (v0.03) to my adult sandox game, The Edge of the Map, is now publicly available!

Since the game is still very early in development, I’m eager to hear any and all feedback - so if you have any criticisms or encounter any bugs/problems throughout your playthrough, please do tell!

- Stock Exchange: Accessible via Home Laptop, you can buy & sell stock of 3 publicly traded companies, with stock proces changing daily. Fly to the moon or lose it all!
- Casino Slot Machine: Gamble all your savings away for a chance of a Big Win on the new slot machine, accessible in the Outskirts Casino!
- UI information system overhaul: now your every action that modifies any stat is clearly communicated via pretty, formatted & color-coded info notices

- Stat Screen overhaul: more info about your activities, stat modifiers & other. Additionally, everything looks prettier with improved styling!
- Another pass on Intro ID card styling - subtle, but better

- Weird flickering of the Intro ID card age dropdown in some browsers
- Incorrect Stat Screen info formatting
- Bugged Anastasia training stat modifier logic

Backend shenanigans
Stuff you won’t see, but matters
- Laptop & stat modifier logic optimizations, cutting around ~1k lines of unneccessairly duplicated/bloated code
- Better video optimization (127mb → ~32mb, without losing quality. FFmpeg is pure dark magic and you can’t convince me otherwise.)

This game seems to be in violation of itch.io’s adult content policy, which does not allow photorealistic AI content. I don’t want to be a party pooper, but itch.io has been under attack by various right wing busybodies (e.g., Collective Shout) so this may become a problem for you sooner rather than later.
