Hello! I released my game Edge Valley Bigfoot Society about a month ago. Unfortunately, I made the unwise decision to release the game a few days before IFComp… So I am re-releasing the game at a more auspicious time. Some bugs have been fixed and some game text has been rewritten to read a little bit better. The re-released version can be played on the website for the game listed on IFDB, I’m not sure how to add the new file without deleting the old one. Well, in any case, I hope you enjoy my game…
This game is pretty short and has (at least to me) some very funny writing. Well worth a look if you have half an hour to spare. The level of polish is also higher than I usually expect when the author says it’s their first game!
I got two different endings, assuming they count as different - one for just running off into the forest and one for running off into the forest after scaring the pursuing guard by roaring at him. I assume other options for the ending involve the hypnosis/mind-control device (but the game said it was too dangerous for me to interact with) and calling the inventor on the phone (but the game said no-one answered because he was tired of me calling him, even though I’d never called him before - is that a bug?).
This is a great game, cooked for a long time, polished and very interesting. I recommend everyone to play Edge Valley becouse is a very fun exploring with a lot things to try, very inmersive and replayable.
