Good luck everyone! I must stop reloading the comp home page 
As I said elsewhere I may miss much of the 2026 competition, due to major surgery later this week, and recovery after, including a long hospital stay. But I will be checking in as can.
Fortunately I now have a new iPhone, so can run iOS 26, up from iOS 15 on my old iPod touch. So I can finally access the Discourse-based intfiction forum by iThingy again, including from my hospital bed.
Authors, try not to stress too much, and enjoy the experience. People will be looking forward to playing your new games. Reviews may take a while to come in, and may not always be welcome, but they are meant with good intentions. You’ve done so well to get a game into the comp. Try to enjoy it!
Players, have fun! You don’t need to play all of the games 
But if you can get through at least 5 of them then your ratings on the competition website can count towards final results.
Good luck also to reviewers, who I’d normally be one of, but may have to skip it this year. Thank you so much for putting in the time and effort to give detailed written feedback. Remember constructive criticism can be the kindest.

I was able to make my game (Invasive Species) display pretty well on mobile! I hope everything goes well with your surgery and recovery.
