Hello folks.
AdventureX is returning to London on November 2nd & 3rd, in partnership with the British Library. AdventureX is the UK’s only convention dedicated to narrative-driven gaming. Since 2011, AdventureX has been bringing together developers & gamers with a passion for interactive storytelling. We’ve hosted talks from writers and developers including Emily Short, Dave Gilbert & Jon Ingold. (Here’s an excellent talk Jon gave last year.)
I wanted to let you know that applications are currently open to exhibit at AdventureX 2019.
We’re looking for games with a story to tell, including (but not limited to) graphical adventures; interactive fiction; exploration games; visual novels & experimental games. In addition to games, we welcome applications for software and tools related to narrative game development, and other projects related to narrative, indie & retro gaming. Tickets for the event will go on sale later in the year.
